Found a mirror for my master bedroom from Salvation Army Thrift Store for $4.99. The mirror is about 2 feet wide and 2.5 feet tall. I first started to paint the mirror with a brush, but stopped and decided to spray paint instead. Due to the detailing and curved frame, the spray painting process made the whole painting process easy and faster. The mirror was removed for the painting process. Very happy with the result.

New Bed:Tufted Wingback Bed
Our bedroom has been the last room on our to do list. At first, I wanted a poster/canopy bed. But realized that it would just overwhelm my small bedroom. I then found a fabulous headboard at Sears, but for the price... I could not reason to buy it. After window shopping through Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, I made up my mind. With inspiration from Restoration Hardware, I was on a mission to find my bed at a reasonable price. I searched and googled, then came upon a Skyline Bed from Amazon. Instead of buying it from Amazon, I went straight to the source at www.wayfair.com. It was priced lower, and I can get 3% back towards another purchase plus free shipping. I also googled online coupons, was able to find a code that allowed me to take an additional 10% off! YahooO! I'm not a big fan of matching bedroom sets, so buying just the bed was fine with me. I wanted something neutral and classic. Compared to similar beds at the name brand stores, I saved well over 50% off! I was unsure of buying it online, unseen. But it was worth it. I love my new bed! It is very sturdy and easy to assemble! Looks more than what I paid. Shipping was very fast. I placed my order on 1/11/12 and received it on 1/21/12. Now off to new bedding! My bedroom is slowly coming together and I love it! Here is a sneak peek.

After Christmas Sale: H&M
After completing some last minute Christmas shopping, I came across a sign at H&M stating another scratch off give away for the first 100 customers the day after Christmas. H&M did the same scratch off on Black Friday, we missed out on it. But we made sure to make it this time. We waited since 5 am, with the store opening at 8 am. Honestly, the wait was not that bad. There was hardly a crowd, Black Friday was 10 X worse. So, I was one of the lucky ones, received a $200 shopping spree and a friend received $300. We decided to split since we came in this together... $250! It all had to be spent that day... Honestly, I always thought that it would be easy, but it really wasn't. Spent a little over 2 hours shopping. Here is my haul.
AND, Happy New Year! Hosted a NYE'S party at my place, it was a ton of fun, but a whole lot of puking, and tons of left overs. I was dreading the clean up, but it actually wasn't that bad.
