Simple Decor Idea: Add a fish tank!

Recently, on a trip to my local Home Goods Store, I ran into some really awesome large glass vases. The first thing I thought was, "This would be a really awesome fish tank!" So for $16.99 I brought it home with me. I ended up placing it on my mantle. To hide the air pump, I wrapped it behind the metal wall art and down the side.

After the Snow

I love that I get to enjoy all four seasons here in Minnesota. There is nothing better than a snowy white Christmas, seeing beautiful fall leaves, warm summer nights and seeing the first buds in spring. I'm so excited that it'spring! The melting snow is definitely revealing all the yard work there is to come in the next few weeks. I can't wait for the green grass and beautiful flowers! I took some shots today when I got home from work...

Since we have come out of hibernation, we have also discovered that it's time to keep up with the chipping paint on our siding and finding out a way to keep wood peckers away! Here is a good example, behind my garage there is a huge hole caused by wood peckers... We need to patch this up soon, since it will only attract more pecking....Yikes.



My favorite store!

One of my favorite stores of all time is, TJ Maxx Home Goods. I can never leave without spending at least one hour in there. As a teenager, I worked at our local TJ Maxx for 4 years through to my first year of college. My favorite dept was home goods and that's where my mgr always scheduled me in. I memorized so many prices, it's actually scary! I stopped by my local store over the weekend and took some quick shots w/my camera phone. I love just wandering around! This store is huge! Half the store is dedicated to home decor/living. My pictures do no justice. Make sure to visit a Home Goods store, and not a regular TJ Maxx...
